AN OUTRIGHT WIN · HOLLYWOOD CASINO CHARLES TOWNA WELCOME FROM LEE
Every player brings different experience, strengths, habits, and goals to the table. My philosophy is to help you understand the game and your own thinking well enough to make deliberate decisions—even when the situation changes.
We’ll use your hands, your questions, and your reasoning to discover what you do well and where you can improve. Through The Acumen Way—Perception, Judgment, and Execution—you’ll learn to see what matters, weigh your options, and act with purpose.
You bring your experience and a willingness to learn. We’ll build from there.

THE ACUMEN WAY
There is no single game to copy. Develop your ability to see the situation, weigh your options, and act with purpose.
Position. Stacks. People. Pressure. Notice the situation before deciding what it means.
Question assumptions. Consider the evidence. Know why a choice fits this moment.
Put your thinking into action. Review honestly, learn, and adjust.
MEET YOUR GUIDE
Lee Childs · Acumen Poker
Lee Childs is a professional poker player, coach, and founder of Acumen Intelligence™, with more than $3 million in combined live and online poker earnings. He finished seventh in the 2007 World Series of Poker Main Event and won a WSOP Circuit title in Atlantic City in 2009.
Since turning professional in 2007, Lee has built his experience through playing, studying, and coaching. He has also written about poker as an Ante Up columnist and works as a poker dealer at Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races. Those roles give him several ways to examine the game: making decisions as a player, explaining them as a coach, and watching the action from the dealer’s seat.
Before poker, Lee worked in information technology leadership, including roles with National Geographic and the MCI/Verizon Foundation. His interest in systems, problem-solving, and clear thinking now informs the way he builds Acumen’s tools and learning experiences.
His coaching begins with your actual hands and what you were thinking—not just whether you won. Together, you examine the situation, challenge assumptions, and turn the review into practical work. The goal is to help you build judgment you can use when the cards, opponents, and circumstances change.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW
AcumenEDGE is currently in pilot with invited members. If you already have access, sign in to your workspace. You can apply for pilot access. Applications are reviewed individually; public enrollment and plan details are not yet available.
No. Start with the questions that matter to your game. Academy fundamentals, focused practice, and coaching provide different ways to build understanding.
Supported hand histories can compare all-in outcomes with equity at commitment. That offers useful context, not a verdict on every decision or a complete measure of luck. Coverage and exclusions are shown with the findings.
Access is managed within the platform. Coaches and administrators may have access to learning records according to their role; individual resources and reviews have sharing controls. This public tour contains no student records.
The learning and hand-analysis tools are designed for preparation and review away from active play. Follow the rules of the venue or poker site where you play.
DEVELOP YOUR GAME.
Bring your experience. Do the work. Make your next decision count.
